Venison Creations is in Camden about 10 miles south of Portland. They do a decent job and can do whatever you want. Sausages, burger, jerky, snack sticks, summer sausage, brats, etc. It's not Shanna's but they can process your deer however you want it done.

When we had our lease at Snow Hill, we used Venison Creations exclusively. Never had a bad experience with them. That's been 20+ years ago, and the fact that they're still there going strong should tell you something. Even back then, all the meat was vacuum packed and labelled.

Do they do hogs? I'm guessing no.

Monroe Sausage is about 20 miles south of Camden in Beatrice. I was pleased with them before I went to doing ALL of my processing in house. But they won’t take a hog.

If you are going back north on 41 you go right by Central Alabama Processor in Sardis. They’ve always done a good job for me but they don’t take hogs and I’m not sure they are opening until Gun season. Nichols processing is in Selma on 219 and they do take hogs and are usually open for bow season. Venison Creations has always been quality.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Few guys at camp use them (one since they started) and i just don't care for their smoked sausage. I brought up some of my pepperjack cheese sausage to grill, and he still takes a few deer there, but he no longer gets his smoked sausage from there lol....

I know Skinners there in Thomasville used to do hogs until Chuck Sykes and crew made them pay a permit to process hogs so they stopped...think a lot have stopped hogwise and likely due to the extra fee

And why? I came from Louisiana and most processors would gladly take hogs with no issues.

They can't process deer and hogs at the same time.
