I've got problems with static electricity when reloading. The powder sticks to everything. When adjusting powder thrower, I'll tare out the brass, throw a charge, check the weight, and dump it if not what I'm looking for. It even sticks in the brass.

Finer powders will tend to stick but florescent lights and carpet will make static worse

Dang, have just installed a florescent light. Looking for a rubber mat to put down.

Will give dryer sheets a shot also.

I've had a fluorescent hanging over my bench for years, and the bench sitting on carpet for years and never had a static problem. I do periodically wipe down the hopper with a dryer sheet however. A fluorescent will for sure mess with an electronic scale. When my light finally went out a year or so ago, I installed magnetic LED strips in the fixture.
