I only sell my gems on ole aldeer, so I have a 96 Timberwolf 2x4 250 it was the same thing as a bear tracker. It runs flawless this engine is perfect, shifts perfect and brakes great. It was red so faded bad but I did a 5 out of 10 vinyl job on it matte hunter green looks pretty good I have wrapped a lot of SXS and atv this stuff holds on forever. It’s tires are solid but about 16percent tread left. I have about 16 extra tires that are mounted on either Polaris, Honda or Yamaha wheels that I would give a set to they might not all match or you could buy tires. It really is a awesome machine and in awesome shape. I could sell for 1800 on Facebook I would let it go for 1400 on Aldeer and give Aldeer a generous donation. It is time for me to sell some atvs I have about 5 others that will come soon but done miss out on this piece of History!

You say "piece of history" like it's old; mine is also a 96 and I think of it as new. Mine is a 4x4, and it's irreplaceable. They don't make anything like this anymore. It's powerful enough to do any job, but light and narrow enough to go anywhere. I had it completely rebuilt last year and expect it to outlast me. You oughta keep yours and sell all the other ones. Good luck with it

The best 4x4 atvs ever made we’re the Yamaha 250 4x4, Suzuki 250/300 4x4, and the Honda 300 4x4. Go anywhere and lift it out of the mud if you got it stuck. I had a 250 Timberwolf back in 94 or 96.

I had a Timberwolf when I was a young teenager. As far as I’m concerned they are the best atv ever made. It was indestructible. Looking back, I tried even though I didn’t know it at the time. If you managed to get it stuck it was light enough to pick up and move out of the ruts.

Loved mine. Sold it to buy a bear tracker. sold that to buy a Rhino. Sold that to buy a Polaris XP900. Should have just kept the Timberwolf... I bet it would still be running.
