A friend of mine is a realtor. She submitted a bid last weekend for $2,000.00 above asking price, no home inspection required, and with a line item that said the buyer would go $2,000.00 higher than any current offer. They still didn’t get it. I know several people that have sold houses sight unseen for above asking price. The market is crazy. If my kids were already out of school, and out of the house, mine would be on the market by days end.

Big corporations are buying way above market value to force the middle class into having to rent instead of own. They are part of the big reset. At least that's what I saw on TikTok. This is correct, I do a lot of remodels for big corporations, several are based in Europe. They pay extremely well but are high as heck on rental price
There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

I could rent my house for more than double what I pay for it.

My wife and I decided we are done last week-end. I had planned on staying here in Florida until at least next March when she hits Medicare age , but it would be sheer financial stupidity for me to stay here with a paid off house and 320 acres to play on in SE Bama. I have access to MLS because of what I do and I only let myself look at it about every week and it is mind blowing. I appraise real estate for a living, not residential but I have the knowledge and research tools to know what the heck I am doing, and I have a hard time believing it. Look at the data and think this can't be right, but it is. My home is probably appreciating close to $4,000/week right now and there is no way I am going to sit around here until the fecal matter hits the fan, which it will. So we decided its balls to the walls to get it sale ready and get it on the market within a month to 6 weeks. Before school starts would be great but I need to update two bathrooms and get a few things fixed, get my arse moved to Bama and finish an insane amount of work, so its gonna be a busy busy month or two. I really hope my boss is up for a remote employee LOL

That’s why I said if the kids were all gone. I’d definitely be downsizing

No need to waste time or $.

Problem isn't selling, it's finding something new to live in. That's why I'm not selling.

We just sold our small farm for 4 times what we paid for it 7 years ago. I made enough on it to build a house with cash on another piece of land I own down the road if the lumber prices ever come on down. The housing market is ridiculous.
