I had luck with Prid and a bandaid to keep the drawing salve in place.

I had that happen last year. Had one get in a well, shall we say, a delicate area. I pulled it off and the next day I had a 4 inch rash. I called a doc and he told me it was most likely a reaction to the saliva and not Lyme. He told me to pick up some stuff at the herb shop and take it. I did and it went away. Never felt any other symptoms. I'll check to see what it was and how much to take. I’m not giving medical advice but I took Astragalus 500mg twice daily.

There is a disease that come with a tick bite that if you eat anything from a mamal, it caused heart palpitations, high blood pressure etc. A good friend of mine has it and Brae on this board has it. Some serious bad juju. Yep. I’ve had Lyme, RMSF, and a fairly new alpha gal diagnosis. If it makes you feel any better, I never got sick from my tick bites that itched. When I got sick, those bites never itched. There’s no scientific proof or whatever to say there’s a correlation, that’s just my personal experience.

Tick bite? More likely a chancre. I knew I shouldn’t have done a Google image search on that word. Some things cannot be unseen.
