A Shelby endorsement versus a Trump endorsement. A no brainer for me. ^^^☝🏻^^^

I see your point on the "why is he running". By do billionaires by sports teams... because they want the fame status. Probably the same for Durant. Are we only going to vote for Trump supporters forever... this will eventually go away. No one says vote for Billy because he supports Ronald Regan. We have to look at their individual qualities.
I don’t know why Durant is running. I only know that he was recruited to run. What does he get out of the deal? As far as Trump goes, I believe the election was stolen. Plenty of data shows that GA, AZ, WI were all compromised. Trump should run again in 2024. If (when, assuming not stolen again), then he needs folks who will support him. He lost two years of his first Presidency because Paul Ryan was a corrupt RINO and McCain killed eliminating Obamacare after he said he would vote to end it. And that POS Mitt took McCains place as the mouthpiece. It took five years to get $1 billion in funding to build the wall. They have spent $5 trillion so far in a year and Senator Shelby has gotten Mobile over $1 billion in pork alone. Shelby despised Trump just like everyone else who was getting rich off the system. If Trump serves another four years with support of Congress hopefully he retires in peace as the greatest POTUS of our lifetime. It will indeed fade away, but right now Trump is endorsing folks that he NEEDS to win because he knows they will support him in Congress.

Now we get to choose between the Shelby/ Mitch choice or the Romney/McCain type. Alabama is great at electing people that don’t represent the values of the majority of the people.

The sad part is the fact that he didn’t say anything wrong. There is no turning back , we need to move forward and focus on winning 22 and 24 and do everything we can to prevent it from happening again. Thrump just got his feeling hurt and this is a ego stroking move on his part. Although I supported him , this is the part of Trump I could do without. He can’t stay out of his own way.

Someone is going to have to give me some really good reasons to vote durant or britt, and a trump endorsement, or the fact they are the nominee isn't enough.

"Why do you ask"?
Too many people spend money they don't have , on things they don't need, to impress people they don't know.

I want to hear whoever he endorses say they believe the 2020 election was rigged

It’ll be required to receive the endorsement. The hit pieces are already coming out in Durant.

Damnit, why can't he just shut up ?! Well Trump isn't exactly a great political strategist if you haven't noticed he lost to Joe Biden. Although to be fair COVID had a lot to do with it I think and that hurt anybody who was in power pretty much I think. He has an ego and can't shut up that's true. You can be 99% loyal but at the first sign of criticism you're the enemy to him. I was just pointing out how politics is weird because people say things about their competitors only to realign behind them later.

Trump didn't drop Mo Brooks because of Cullman. Nothing has changed and he supported him afterwards. He dropped him because the "poll" numbers on Mo have dropped dramatically since Sheisty Britt started running a negative campaign. The OP asked the same thing everyone has asked when they hear Mo Brooks sound clip from 2016 when he supported Ted Cruz in the primary. The strategy has worked. Alabamians think Mo hates Trump and supports the taliban. I think Trump has made a mistake. If he thinks McConnell and Britt are going to do his agenda, then he is sadly mistaken. I am still voting for Mo Brooks. He is still the best choice.

Finally Trump sees the light... Durant and Britt are far better candidates than Mo Brooks. Mo is going to be on the fringes and it will be hard for him to bring money back to Alabama. Durant will pull North Alabama because he should be in position to pull big defense contracts to Huntsville and keep what we current have. Britt can use her Shelby connects to continue that gravy train of cash flow.
Either way Durant and Britt are far better than Tommy... and I like Tommy but he is not the brightest cookie.

Trumps ego is going to screw this up. The people and organizations behind Britt and Durant are a no go for me. At least alabama politics are consistent. Consistently bad candidates. Doug Jones says hey!

Doug Jones says hey! Exactly right. If the truth is told, his ego is probably as much to blame as the rigging was in with Joe winning. If he had toned down some of ego stroking and been just a little more tactful, he wouldn’t have turned so many of the independents away from him. Just my opinion.

Trump's endorsement means absolutely nothing to me anyways so I'll still pull for whichever one I think will best serve my views in the Senate in the Primary and then vote for whichever Republican wins the nomination in the General election.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Not that it matters, but I agree with your assessment of what went wrong in 2020. Trump would have won if he hadn't gone into his Rasslin' persona and fired up the opposition to the point that they would have done anything to get him out. Like the old adage, sometimes it is best to let sleeping dogs lie. Or another is don't poke a turd. For the record, I loved his policies and didn't care for the persona. That persona is what fired up his base and got him elected in 2016 but he should have toned it down for 2020.
