Been loading boats with ice and bait the last couple days while they fuel up. Going to be breezy but time to lay off the deer and focus on tuna and swords.

Last hunt of the year for me. Shooting house in some thinned pines and overlooking what used to be a food plot until loggers and skidders made it a rutted up mess with piles of logs. Just glad to be here.

Just glad to be here. Oooohhh boy. Just let a pretty good 8 point walk. A doe came by trotting with tail up and I got ready. 5 minutes later here he comes. Had him at 30 yards broadside. Real pretty deer. Rack was just inside ears and high. Maybe he’ll make it another 10 days. The more I sit, the more I’m second guessing myself now….
