Buds has a Stainless Synthetic Henry Mini Youth 22 LR for 279 . Not wood, but a good little rifle.

Pats in Jasper has new Crickets for around $150, maybe less. I can’t remember exactly how much my daughters was. Hers is synthetic though.

Only thing I didn't like about the henry .22 is they have no safety.

Check out the Savage Rascal. Very close to the same price as the Cricket but cocks like a regular bolt action and has a real safety.

Good luck I found an original a few years ago from early 80s n scooped it up before mine could shoot it...it's one of my favorites

I have one. Not a cricket. It's a Henry. Stainless/synthetic. I'd take $200 for it, but you'll have to come to me. I don't have time to meet up right now.

One more vote towards a Savage Rascal. Single shot bolt action. Bought one a few years ago for $110 on sale at bass pro shops. Accutrigger, safety and bolt operation like a full size rifle. Mine is the basic model in FDE, they now offer models with heavy threaded barrels and target stock. Base model weight is 2.7lbs.

Buds has a Stainless Synthetic Henry Mini Youth 22 LR for 279 . Not wood, but a good little rifle. Great little rifles. I bought one for my daughters to shoot years ago. It was accurate to shoot mistletoe from trees with iron sights. Wouldn't mind another one.
