There is an Alpine 300 mag with a vx6 on gunbroker. Seems like I saw a 308 Montana with a threaded barrel in guns international. Kimbers are getting scarce.

I saw a Kimber Adirondack 7mm-08 that was at 2795.00 with a day left on gunbroker. I wonder what it ended up going for?

Buy a Kimber Hunter, have the stock dipped and the barrel cut and crowned. You choose your Camo and save a couple grand. Same rifle, pull the gel out of the stock and you’ll be as light or lighter. Here’s my 358 Win that started life as a Hunter in 243. Barrel chopped to 16” and rebored to 358 Win, forend shortened and remolded by me, and stock painted by me. Have less than 1k in it, and with scope and a full mag it’s just a hair over 5 lbs. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/NcfIaW7.jpg)

That 358 Win at just a hair over 5 pounds has gotta have some terrible recoil.

Even saved it on my favorites. I may consider doing this. Thank you!

If Kimber would get of their butts and get rifles coming off the production line they’d sell so many!

Its light and compact and if I had to guess, accurate. Nice rig. Also, I wouldn't think a 358 would be horrible with recoil, even at that weight.
