A big one as well, pretty cool. Does the river get over the pond...?

Thats a good one. We brought a few home and put them in the pond. We catch one now and then. I was really hoping they would reproduce. I read they are stocked in ponds regularly up north

Cool! Good eating fish too.

Never had them down here growing up....but they are in the Tallapoosa River now. I caught a tiny one on Martin over 30 years ago. Couldn’t figure out what it was.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

A friend, the Bible and a banker will get you though about anything.

That's the biggest I ever seen. I heard they got big but people won't play enough catch and release to let em grow I guess.

My Dad's side of the family is from northern Ohio on lake Erie and I have caught a lot of them. Probably one of the best fish to eat I have ever had. I put fresh perch filets right up there with fresh crappie filets. And that is saying a lot.
