Any of you guys ever tried a product called golden nuggets? I put out a bag for kicks a couple weeks ago and pictures really picked up. Got a couple more bags and the deer are really hitting it. It’s like little pellets with a supposed berry flavor which is I’m sure a sales gimmick. Also noticed a couple of skunk pictures at 2 different farms eating it and I don’t remember ever getting skunks on camera before. Maybe they should market it as deer - skunk attraction. I just stumbled upon it and was wondering if anyone had any experience putting it out.

The protein pellets from record rack? If so I have put a bag out before. Didn’t really notice a big difference between it and corn

Record Rack does make it. I use the protien pellets during the summer at out club with 22 feeders and the deer love it. When you use it the first time it takes them a little time to get use to the but it is great protien - 20%

Thank y’all for the replies. Looks like I stumbled across something good for a change. Has anyone used it through a spin cast feeder? I don’t have one but I might buy one if I get a little encouragement from y’all. I’ve got a gravity feeder I use through the summer so I know I will use this feed then.

Build some troughs or put in a pipe. It doesn't like rain and stinks when it sours and the deer won't eat it after it gets wet.
