Took the gf to try and get her first deer. Not much movement this morning but sat there til 9 since she got cold. Convinced her to spot and stalk the creek bottom to warm up and she ended up missing a shot on a nice buck at 100yds. We’ll see if they are moving any better this afternoon

Nice buck and nice clover patch. Is that one you've been maintaining or planted this season? What kind of clover is it? Year 3 of Ladino (white) with some crimson mixed in. It took a pretty big hit this year for some reason but its starting to fill back out with the cooler temps. I'll probably have to replant it and lime again this spring.

Congrats. What he weigh? Looks fat I didn't weigh him, but I'd guess him 210-220 on the hoof. He had two huge layers of inner fat running down each side of his spine. I think he's been putting the hurt on a feeder or two.

Congrats on the kills! I saw 17 this am with a solid 9 pointer that I passed up…I may pull the trigger if he comes out this aft though cause people I was with said no you needed to shoot that lol
