How do you go about it 257? Cover crop, drill seed, then selective herbicide, fertilize?

I let my plots go to seed in late June early July. Then I mow stubble to reseed my clovers. Spray a few times late summer with a total burndown then plant mid September. I let it get a good stand then fertilize. I don’t use any chemical in crop. Only 2 summer burndowns.

Do you ever find a need to reseed clover? Turkeys hit mine pretty hard in early summer so not that much to reseed by August.
