I come here often seeking guidance from the Aldeer trust. We are looking to sell our Coachmen Catalina Travel Trailer. Anyone here done something similar that is willing to advise? I'm leaning RV trader, but they want 200$ to post images, etc. I'm thinking I'm around $30k on the deal. I'm a bit torn on paying for their service.

Man to be honest it probably isn't a bad idea. It's so hard to get what you have in an RV back.

Some early research reports I can sell my 3 year old travel trailer for the same or more than I paid for it. Pretty crazy. Not to mention my home's value is up by around $250k.

I would seriously think about calling a few dealers and asking them if they want to buy it. We received an unsolicited offer from one dealer for ours. It's 2 years old and they offered us what it sold for new. Can't hurt to ask. Or, just take some good pictures and list it on FB Marketplace. Ask more than you want, you might be surprised.

Post on Aldeer. If you have the ability put it out on one of the Military Bases on the resale lot. Of course there is the book of faces too. Do all of you can

Facebook Marketplace will get you the most buyers looking at it. A friend has a guy that works for him, posted my camper on FB and sold it in a few days for 1k more than I wanted for it. He took $300 for handling everything.

If it doesn't sell on Facebook marketplace, you're too high. I would start there. That's where all my boats sell. If you don't have a serious offer in a week, you need to come down on the price. Everything i sold this year sold within 3 days!

Great lack of inventory market right now should have no problem selling it to an individual or a dealer

Great lack of inventory market right now should have no problem selling it to an individual or a dealer Absolutely. Friend brought a guy over to look at mine because he wanted the same one but no dealer in the SE had one to show. All sold. He could order one with a 3-6 month wait. Didn't want to pay for it without at least being able to get inside and see how it set up and took down. With inflation destroying $ daily folks are seeing the uselessness of waiting to buy anything and especially a large purchase item.
