Is there a trick to getting this sumbeech out or is it all force? I’m trying to get this driveline back on my bush hog and need about an once of slack and this little pin is holding me up. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/HIBJnWx.jpg)

Heat the coupler with a heat gun and ice the pin. Should take about 5 minutes and you can pull it out.

Drive out the center roll pin first and the outer pin will come out easier I would think.

Don't think I've ever seen a roll pin inside another. They went in there they'll come out. Proper size roll pin punches and drive the inside out first,how I'd attack it.

Does that pin go to the other side of the driveline knuckle?
What brand and model bush hog?
What can’t you attack the other end of the driveline for the slack you need?

I ask my drive-line man and he said to drive out the inner pin first and then the outer pin will come out. He also said drive from the side that is shorter so as to not mushroom the pin.

I tried that and it's not budging. I may just drill the d@mn thing out. One problem is the inner pin looks to be is collapsed all the way, no room to spring . I'd still take the proper size roll pin punch , big hammer. You have nothing to lose. Then go to a bigger punch and big hammer. That don't get it drill press, better have some good drills , cheapo Harbor Freight prolly won't like that spring steel . Like I said ^^^^ it went in there , it'll come out.

Thanks guys I beat that sumbitch til I was tired of it and finally took it back to the tractor shop and they put an air hammer on it and got it to move.
