Since retiring I've been doing a lot of tractor work such as bush hogging and clearing land. I noticed the other day I have basically cleared a 250 yard shooting lane right next to my house and didn't even know it. I'm thinking I would like to set up some shooting steels and build a little shooting bench. I could just walk outside, shoot the rifle and if I'm shooting steel, I wouldn't even have to ride the cart to the target to see if I hit it. So......my question is........has anyone made their own shooting steels or steel gong that can withstand high powered rifles?
