I only saw little bream when we were bowfishing week before last.
This full moon coming up in 4-5 days should put a few on and I suspect the next 4-6 weeks the lake will be en fuego.

I was planning on taking off work and taking the kids bream fishing tomorrow (my birthday), but I just talked to my bud at Coon Creek Outfitters at Crow Creek in Stevenson, and he said the water was way high and pretty much chocolate milk up that way. I think I'm gonna wait until about Wednesday of next week and pray we don't get TOO much more rain between now and then.

All the creeks are muddy-flooded and TVA is ripping the water to get it on downriver ... or they were yesterday.
By Saturday and definitely by early next week, without any more rain, things should be back to normal.

Hope you have a secluded place to go if you go to Guntersville this weekend. The BASS Elite is in town and it is packed. We went Tuesday not knowing that it was this week and even on Tuesday it was horrible. The pros were getting ready and they were everywhere.

The BASS tournament field is only 100 boats and will be cut to 50 on Saturday and 12 on Sunday.
There will be five times as many local anglers in other tournaments this weekend as the Bassmaster guys, not to mention the recreational anglers, on the lake.
Just go fish and have a good time. If the durn sun would come on out and we don't get any rain the bream fishing should start picking up.
