Freedom is on fire in America. If somebody dont put it out pretty quick, we will be communist by the time our grandkids grow up. Most will just watch it burn. Im sorry this is even something youre having to give any thought. But thats just one more reason i sure am proud to be self employed.

This is going to end up before the supreme court and I hope they chose freedom. I think the biggest argument is Roe V Wade. I don't see how you can have it both ways.

Yeah the random testing doesn't much make sense. Then again, neither does much of anything else related to covid/testing. Probably random test those that show signs of possibly being sick. If you are hacking, sniffling, etc probably be tested. People tend to come to woirk sick because they can't afford to take a day off financially. Health care Nazi. They sneeze... test them. They cough.... test them. They sniffle... test them. They scratched their butt... test them for worms. All because heir Biden tells them to. Actually they probably have allergies or used a different detergent. Common sense has gone out the window.

That would classify as discrimination. Those vaccinated can still infect the un vaxed so they would have to test all or be subject to a suit I would think.
The gov doesn't care if you discriminate against folks as long it isn't because of race, gender or age. Everything else is fair game. ETA: and religion

With the surge of Delta, my work is testing ALL employees before returning to work. Of course, we don't all come in on a daily basis - 99% of my crew work 14 days on 14 days off, so they get tested once a month before going to work. This is what DoA has to do before he goes to work each hitch. He is sent a PCR test which he has to do DIY style and get sent off within 7 days of when he reports back to work (when they first started doing that, he had to make a telemed appt so the medical professional could watch him do it and be sure it was done correctly) and then he has to do a quick test at the heliport when he gets there. This has been the protocol for them since the tests came out last year. They have also been wearing masks all the time, indoors or outdoors, in all common areas except the dining hall. Some have been fully vaxxed, but so far they have not made it mandatory. In spite of all these folks having to do that, there have been some cases that have popped positive after they get to work. Those are banished to their quarters until they can be sent home (usually a day or two) and those who share a room or work closely together are also made to quarantine on board until they get sent home.

I have folks who show up with a fever, snot running down their lip, hacking, farting, chitting every 5 minutes because they cannot manage their finances and if they miss a couple days the title pawn joint will get their ride. If you have a fever or the shits, you get sent home. If you have a cough/snot factory, you put on a mask or go home. If you know you've been exposed to someone with covid, you go home and get tested. If you lie to me about any of it and I find out, you go home.

I would rather be tested than forced to vaccinate.
Testing is no big deal. Like someone else said, they are protecting the work force. If one person gives it to 5 others, that is hurting the workforce. It is the world in which we live right now, but as I stated earlier, I would rather be tested and sent home for 10 days than be forced to vaccinate or be sent home permanently. Exactly. And the thing that doesnt make sense is when vaccinated people can go where ever, whenever they want without have to get a test. But they can still get the virus. Was talking to a friend who lives in Baton Rouge, he is a big LSU fan and he was telling me that to get into tiger stadium you have to present a vaccine form or a negative covid test from within 48 hours. So an unvaccinated person gets tested and is negative, they go into the stadium and sit nest to a vaccinated person (who did not have to be tested). The vaccinated person has covid and gives it to the unvaccinated person. Thats insane. Maybe ignore the vaccination status and test everyone before they can enter the stadium. Nothing else really does anything.

I just got an email from corp. stating that all associates will have to be vaccinated by 11/1, her at my work. the company I work for is in the top 10 on the fortune 500 companies. Fortunate, i've already been vaccinated. There are exemptions for people that have just gotten over covid and has antibodies, but think once those are no longer there they will have to get the vax.

My son's know they have to suck it up and not go see her, because it doesn't matter what the symptom, even if they don't have a fever, its covid and they have to quarantine. Headache, covidf. Upset stomach, covid. Sneeze, covid. Cough, covid. Its insane.

Delta just announced that unvaccinated employees will start paying an extra $200 a month for their insurance. Thank goodness I don’t have to connect through Hartsfield-Jackson twice a week anymore. With all the brothas they have working for them there they will be lucky to keep 1/3rd of the flights anywhere near on time.

Being that blacks are one of the least vaccinated group, I wonder how long before the race card is tossed out?

That would classify as discrimination. Those vaccinated can still infect the un vaxed so they would have to test all or be subject to a suit I would think. There are companies (mine included) that have different rules for those who are not vaccinated. Employees who are not fully vaccinated (including those with medical or religious exemptions) o Must wear a mask indoors at all times unless in a private room or private office and alone. o May have no unmasked interactions with other employees, including in the cafeteria or breakrooms. Food services is opening the seating area in the cafeteria at night to allow additional space for unvaccinated employees to eat socially distanced. o Will be subject to periodic Covid-19 testing. Honestly, I'd probably let them run with that scenario for a month so that it is well documented and enforced, then refuse to take the test, get fired, get an attorney and sue for discriminatory practices, emotional distress, and pain and suffering and get a nice little nest egg of cash from the company. That is, by definition, a discriminatory policy and discriminatory work practice. It has been proven scientifically that the fully vaxed can and are getting Covid and can and are spreading it. The case could be made that the vaccinated should have to be tested and wear masks so that they do not infect the unvaccinated. I honestly think that with the scientific data that is now out there regarding the vaxed and spread, that this one could be easily won in court. I'm sure there are 100s of attorneys that would probably take it on a contingency fee basis. Unless they are testing everyone or doing it completely randomly, this is clearly discriminatory in nature. I'm just waiting to see the first class action against one of these mega corporations be filed. It's coming.

Delta just announced that unvaccinated employees will start paying an extra $200 a month for their insurance. Another discrimination class action just waiting to be filed. Unless they are giving full physicals and adjusting premiums based on age, HBP, smoking, overweight, diabetes, family history of heart disease, cancer or stroke, you cannot legally just pick one specific thing like the vaccine and say, "If you dont get this, youre going to have to pay a higher premium than someone who does get it." I cant believe that Alexander Shahnahnah and his mass tort law buddies havent jumped on this yet.

Age makes life insurance go up.....and I was personally denied a life insurance policy at one time for being "morbidly obese" (and am still considered MO by some standards - but im working on it :)) All that said, i am no expert in the laws that regulate this.
