Don't you always have 4 circumference measurements?

Great buck! Tell your brother congrats.
Moran's Taxedermy (334-566-7753) in Jack has always done an awesome job for me. You can get it done cheaper but you get what you pay for. He should have some examples of his work there or get with me and I can show you some.

Good un. Yes you get 4 per side, it's the H1-4 on your score sheet. On the bases, you don't measure around the burr. 6" bases (H1) are big, real big.

You get 4 on a side on a side with 4 points? (8 point) Meaning H4 is the circ half way between the G3 and tip of beam?

You are correct sir. B and C has a great website that shows how to measure any critter they recognize. Anyone can get close using the right tape, pulling it tight and following directions on the score sheet.

Ron in Beaverton is a great taxidermist. He does it for a living and does a great job. I am looking at one on the wall that he done for me last year. He has folks come to him from as far away as TX and NC. I think his price is $375. He realy is one of the good ones!
