I know this is a long shot but my tractor was stolen last night. It is a 2007 Kubota L3400 4x4 with a bucket on the front. Also had a 20' tandem axel bumper pull trailer (black) with ramps stolen. If anyone has any information leading to the whereabouts of this equipment, it would be greatly appreciated. If you have seen this tractor or know someone that has just purchased one just like it, please contact me @ 205-399-7974. Thank you!

Man, I hate that for you. And I hate a thief. In 2008, I had a good friend in the excavation business. With the downturn, he was already struggling. He left a nearly new skid steer, mini-excavator, dump trucks and trailers on a job site overnight near Clanton and lost it all. It put him out of business. We should treat thieves as harshly as they do in the parts of the middle east.

Did he not have insurance on them?

A lot of people do this FOR insurance money. My old employer did. Well....they hid everything from the bank in a barn and sold it.

I know a feller and his dad that went to prison when an insurance investigator tripped over a smoke stack sticking out of the ground where they’ed buried a many hundred grands worth of equipment.

sounds like a story i heard , but it was a few Peterbilts and they had a hard rain and the stacks started sticking out the ground.
