Went to the DR a week ago.... shots, pills and creme.
Tried Calamine, Zanfel and praying often.
Maybe it quit spreading yesterday, hopefully.
Ideas to make it go away?

Had it about a month ago. Calamine lotion only thing that seemed to work. It kept spreading on me too. Think the PI oil was on my watch band and didn't clean that until too late. Good luck!

When I was a kid and was at the hunting club with my dad, they told me to rub peanut butter on my arms and wrap it up. About halfway through the jar I realized how much of an idiot I looked like. Needless to say that doesn’t work lol

cranberry juice will also help you to flush out your system. the main thing is to wash out the toxin. Also, if you dont mind taking a nap, benadryl will reduce some of the symptoms.

The reaction is to the urushiol oil which is just an irritant. Some people are more sensitive to it and your sensitivity can change over time. Like the OP stated, usually when it “spreads” , there is oil still on a item of clothing or something that comes into contact with the body.

The shot helped at first (a week ago) but when it wore off it started spreading. I'm on a form of benadryl 24/7 and I guess that helps maybe.

Swimming pool with lots of chlorine and then sit in the sun. It will help dry out the rash. When I used to get the shots when I was younger it would be gone in a couple days. I'm surprised it didn't work quickly for you.
