Looking for some opinions on good value cameras with the plot watch or time lapse feature.

I know that most browning have them and are great cameras, wondering if anyone has had luck with other less expensive brands.

I believe some of the Wildgame cameras have this feature.

I wish they would make a cell camera that did timelapse mode.

I got a MoultrieMobile that is basically that. Takes a pic every time it reaches the delay. I’ll put it on you right.

I have an old Moultrie that actually does a good job with TimeLapse. I didn't like the way that my Browning handled it because it saved the file as a movie, rather than a bunch of JPEGs. The movie wouldn't play on my phone. That's the only good thing I can say about Moultrie cameras.

My spypoint dark cams have time lapse and the ability to set only one time period to be active, or run 24 hours. What I don't like is that they do not take motion pics when in the time lapse mode and really eat batteries in this mode. The cheaper micro lte cameras I have don't have the time lapse feature. Some people on here seem to really hate spypoints, but I am running 12 of them, 6 micros and 6 darks, and have had only 2 go bad. Each time the replacements were in my hands in less than a week, and then I returned the bad ones back in the same box, no hassle, maybe 10 minutes on the phone each time.

To the original poster's question, I have been pleased with a camera I found on Amazon called oudmon. 40 bucks new, and they seem to be nearly identical to the old Bushnell trophy HD cameras with the field scan a and b modes. If you are not familiar with the old Bushnells, field scan was a time lapse mode that allowed you to set 2 time periods to use the time lapse mode, and still took pictures triggered by motion at any time. I picked up a couple on sale in February and tried them in the yard with good results. Put them in the woods around the first week of March and plan to check on them next week to see how they do on a 3 month run. I will know more about how they perform after next week if you are interested.

Here's the link to them, I bought the 16 mp

Spartan cameras have a time lapse feature. Can use it along with the regular motion activated trigger. Can also request video of any pictures it sends you.
