Opinions? What’s one worth these days. A few years old.

I believe those are the ones with the carbon fiber upper and lowers aren’t they?

If so, I’ve heard pretty bad things about them. But to be fair, I’ve heard pretty bad things about every AR upper and lower that’s made from polymer or carbon fiber. If you’re looking to buy, I’d hold out for a metal upper/lower. You can still run across new AR’s with a Lower for 800$ pretty frequently. Even cheaper I’d you hold out and look around.

If you’re looking to offload one, I’d post it for 700$. Someone who doesn’t know any better or doesn’t care will probably bite on it pretty quick.

Composite lower receiver, aluminum upper receiver.

Stick with an aluminum lower for .223/5.56 rounds

I double checked on the googles, and it looks like they may have been originally made with carbon fiber uppers & lower before they moved on to aluminum upper and carbon fiber lower.

If it’s the aluminum upper, it may be fine. The carbon upper has a rail for optics that will not hold zero, just due to their design. I’ve got one in the shop I replaced for a guy, that I may try to redesign/bed for a dedicated 22LR, or just keep as a paperweight.

10-4. Long story on how I acquired it. No big deal if it turns out to be a piece. I’ll see how it shoots. It’s very light.
