Be hunting my farm here in FL, supposed to be 27 in the morning. About a 45 deg drop in temp from this afternoon  Been waiting on that for awhile so I will be hanging out of a tree for sure. I don't care about the wind cause I will be hunting a bedding area they will move wind or not.

I'll be there. Our deer having really started chasing so I'm expecting to see some action. Wind shouldn't be too bad for the first few hours

I kinda want to go but not real keen on the 18mph wind .I think movement will be slow

it was blowing 20 here at the house and my fat ass went to burger king and eat and got back in the bedding area for the rest of the day.

It is only in the low 40's the cold temps don't move in until tomorrow.  Oh well gonna go anyway and see what happens.

I kinda want to go but not real keen on the 18mph wind .I think movement will be slow Some of my best days in the woods ever were on windy days, don't expect deer to walk out in an open food plot on a windy day. You need to be hunting a shooting lane in a bedding area or as close to one as possible.

I'm in a ground blind in some 10yr pines that had been burned at some point. I am watching a shooting lane that leads to a thick trail with a scrape line on it. The wind isn't bad at all. I'm glad I didnt make my decision based on the forcast

The last time I made my decision based on the forecast of calm winds, low's for tomorrow morning in the upper 30's and clear skies all day it ended up being cloudy most of the day with a wind blowing out of the NNW between 15-20mph all morning and foggy with drizzle. Since I was already in the woods I stuck it out and finally saw one nice buck about 150 yards away around 12:30 on my way out of the woods that day. Being WMA lands you have to have your weapon unloaded when you leave the actual woods so I wasn't able to get a shot on him as he ran back over the hill where he came from headed right towards my spot across the pipeline.

I'm sitting on a pipeline this am, the wind is starting to pick up hit I've seen a 4, a spike, and a doe.

I killed a doe at 7:15 this morning. She was alone and moving between two pine thickets thru a small strip of hardwoods.
