They've been burning a lot, so you'll see quite a few regular truck tracks this time of year behind gates.

I finally got in the game this morning with one, gobbled good, but he had hens and faded off and I had to go. Gonna be a pretty day today

Bright as daylight with the moon.

Hate that for you. He must’ve smelled you. Try some hen in heat next time

That's the only logical explanation.
Congrats to you killers. It been a beautiful morning in the turkey woods.

First heard them at 5:50. Like BOFF said it was good seeing light under that crisp full moon for the walk to them. Took a minute to make my setup right but knew he was dead the rice when a hen fired up about 100yds behind me. She dirty talked at me pretty bad. I have it right back then put my gun up and got ready. Was a pretty show with him marching into the sun like he did. After I killed him I just let him lay there and listened to several more for later this week

Heard the same report from my pops as some of y’all. Had one gobbling early, and flew down with hens and he said He probably gobbled 100 times between 6:15-8:30 a she finally just faded away across the property line with his hens

No.I followed the tracks to where they are driving around the gate. I didn't know if I owned land next to federal I could just make own road system and throw beer cans out my window as I drive around. Seems like a good deal. Pay for 10macres.and drive around 1000 more.
