Which roll crimp are y’all using? For the past 3-4 years, I’ve used the BPI roll crimp tool. Just curious if there are better options out there.

^^^^^^The GAEP is going to be one of the best. Some of the antique do a great job also. I just use a cheap precision Reloading

Thanks! That’s the one that I’ve heard of before.

Hit up Dale Wildman on gobbler nation on Facebook. He can get you one, I believe he’s a rep of theirs or something.

If the guy Hevishot recommend can’t help you shoot me a pm. I have a direct contact for GAEP in Italy I have dealt with multiple times. Very easy to do business with and great service. I’ll also give GAEP products a thumbup

That's what I have used for years. They all went bang. They all threw good patterns. I can't think of anything else that matters to me.

Did you try a drop of oil on the crimper in the crease?

My BPI crimper turns out some ragged looking crimps, especially with fiocchi hulls. I’ve heard gaep makes prettier crimps, especially when used with the old antiques style hand tools.

I personally plan on setting up a 20 gauge MEC soon. I recently set a 410 up and once you get it all set, the fold crimps are much easier IMO. Especially on the 410.....
Now setting up the .410 was a challenge.

I do use oil and can get them looking fairly decent, especially when doing a lot of them. Just looking at getting style points.
