Have any of you hunters ever bid and or purchased any state lease or timber company land ? Is it like an auction? Highest bidder wins ? Prices reasonable?

Highest bidder. I hear they go for crazy prices.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

Yes I’ve bought from them. Yes I made an offer on the land but not an auction. It wasn’t technically for sale but it could be bought. Yes it was reasonable compared to private land.

Yes, did on state land, it was a bid style sale/lease. We got a few hundred acres for the minimum bid. It was landlocked by us though.
We got 60ac for 300 or 350$.
Well, the way I see it is there's just too many assholes On a good day there's a bunch of assholes in here. On a bad day there's too many assholes in here.
