I’ve had atleast two dozen opportunities this season to put a doe I the freezer but I passed.
Told myself I’d shoot one if I have the chance this afternoon.

Had a group walk up at 20 yds, I drew back and my peep was somehow completely twisted sideways. Let down to reset it and got busted.
Re-drew 5 times right after and couldn’t get the peep to repeat the sideways twist. Hopefully I have better luck in the morning

If your peep is out of alignment when you get to full draw, take your nose and nudge it to line it up while at draw. When at full draw, the string has very little tension on the peep and it can be easily turned.

I nearly got a shot this morning. A dog from who knows where jumped em. They stopped but didn’t stay stopped.

Nice mass on that bow kill! lol
Those old does are the most educated deer in the woods. I know it's hard to keep a positive attitude in camp on bologna sandwiches, but you put the work in. Its just a matter of time. Hang in there. You got this LEGEND!
