Need something that don’t kick real bad due to bad back. I’m using a 22/250 right now but don’t trust shooting a big buck with it. Looking at maybe a 7/08 or .308 or maybe a 6.5. I have an sks and an ak47 too but where I hunt I have 3-400 yard shots. Have a 30/06 but it definitely hurts my back when shooting it. Not looking for a 1,000 dollar rifle either. Prob go buy a new one but thought I’d see what everyone had first.

H&R single shot, 308 bull barrel with a Burris fullfield E1 30mm tube, 3x9x40 scope. I'll take $400 for it.
I hate making a good first impression. There’s no way I can keep that shit up.

I know you said you don't want to spend a 1000 but I got a sendero sf2 in a 300wm with a break on it that kicks less than that 308, I had for sale a while back if interested.
Only accurate rifles are interesting.

Is the savage axis any good? Topped with a really good glass? Very good for the money just as accurate or better than some of the other cheap rifles. It is really good for the money. A lot of people dont like savage rifles. But I had several and all were accurate. I have several old remingtons that are good, but you could not give me a new one. They are crap. I see why they went bankrupt.
It's not how much money you make, but how much you can keep.
