I’m somewhat in the market for a glass bass boat and have some questions and need suggestions. What is a good overall boat that balances deck space, smooth ride, storage among a few things to mention. What say ye aldeer experts? This search is in its infancy so I want to get started on the correct path. Thanks

I would think that's a minimum requirement for a boat. 😉
I hate making a good first impression. There’s no way I can keep that shit up.

Phoenix. Or Triton. Or Ranger.

The need for or not for speed is going to be a very large factor in your decision making

In that case, I’d recommend a 43’ Everglades with trip 400’s.

Cal Clupapper on the Montevallo Fishing team won a Phoenix last week in a tournament. He had it for sale.

To be honest, I’d go with a nitro z19 or z21
I’m all about ranger, triton, basscat, Phoenix, etc, but the fish don’t care whether you have a canoe or a 100k Ranger.
You’ll get twice as much bang for your buck on the z19 than just about any other boat. You can get a nice equipped one for close to 50k OTD, that 25-30K you save from not buying a top tier boat pays for a lot of gear and time on the water.

I bought a used 2017 Z19 and have been pleased with it. I have not had any experience with the other brands, but I know they are quality boats with a premium price. I would spend the extra money saved on electronics, TM with spot lock, and tackle. Just my 2 cents. I do not tourney fish but I captain a boat for Benjamin Russel high school fishing team.
