I'm thinking about getting a new boat,,,,,,it's a tunnell boat with a 70hp with regular prop drive ANY Pros or Cons on this set up, oh it has a jack plate and a 4 blade prop. T hanks

That oughta be a great rig; who is the manufacturer? I've got a friend who has a similar rig and really likes it, but I've never fished in it with him. From what I have read, folks say that the tunnel won't get you into the places that a jet outboard will, but I don't see why it wouldn't. It would surely be miles better than a regular hull for getting around in rocky rivers.

i think it was Stratos that had a tunnel one year. It was only problematic on lakes full of stumps. If you got on one it was hell to get it off, but that was before the introducton of a 36 volt trolling motor which was able to drag a boat off about anything.
