Yep. I have encountered guides on water before and I give them leeway because I realize they are working. But sometimes they can be real arses out there. He may very well have pissed off a half drunk country boy who was having a bad day.

The comments said nobody heard any gunfire, even at the campground nearby. May have been a suppressed weapon and would not have sounded like normal gunfire, especially after the first round. I sure hope the cowardly bastard(s) get caught.

I talked to a fisherman from Jasper that had his truck broke into below Lock Seven at the parking lot while he was out fishing. We had a lot of that about that time. He was real pissed, in a quiet way!!! I saw him again three weeks later, truck and trailer...no boat. He was headed to the parking lot to leave his truck, had a 30/06 and camo on. Said he was going to sit in the woods and watch his truck all day. I wished him luck and headed to the other end of the county.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....
