Valleyhunter106 4 point V Joined: Jul 2010 Posts: 225 Sardis City	Who on here has hunted this wma? When is usually the peak rutting activity? An older gentleman and myself might plan a camping/hunting trip there. We were thinking about around the 17th of Dec. I think that is a gun hunt then.

I haven't hunted it in years,but there used to be some monsters in there.There was 14 point killed there among several other large bucks back in '96 when they first opened it up for hunting.Like said above I'm sure that's not the case as much anymore.There is some beautiful scenery though. cahaba 4 point Joined: May 2009 Posts: 569 Alabama	The last two years I hunted Cahaba, bucks would be chasing around Dec. 15th. Some of the deer there are northern strain and rut even earlier.
