Got mine today - Unit 8 which was my first choice. My hunting buddies drew too. ( we put in as a group which means if one of us draws we all draw ).

I put in with 3 other guys and all got drawn for area 4 and 5. We will be going first week of November also. Haven't been in about 8 years but was awesome last time we did go. Good luck to all you that got drawn!!

We are thinking of staying in manhattan We are fortunate to hunt on private land and we never see any deer hunters. There are a lot of pheasant hunters around but those numbers seem to be dwindling. We stayed in Clay Center or Minneapolis,KS in the past. We found a cabin in a state park that we're staying at now. It's awesome and cheap.

I have close to 50 guys that applied for tags for youth/rifle/archery/muzzleloader tags in units 11 & 12.
Out of everyone that I had apply we had 3 that didn't draw.
