Seemed to me that finding a gobbling turkey was few and far between. Did you fellas has the same experience or was it only in my spots? I did get super lucky on the last day. Check it out if you have time.

Final day success!

The only hard gobbling birds I sat on were early season and they were all early afternoon. Birds have been real quiet on the limb for me all season.

A few less overall. One property they gobbled good all year, another about the same. One place I hunt that had way less but I usually have that place to myself and the due to the covid I had competition there. I still killed birds. Not as many as last year but I screwed the pooch on a couple of birds.

Yeah I didn’t hear nothing.

Do you want to hear him gobble, or do you want to kill him.

Best year we have had in a long time. Turkeys started making a strong come back 3 yrs ago. Only had 1 morning out of 22 I didn’t hear a gobble. That day it was cloudy cold and 20 mph winds.

Pretty good til bout 3rd week in April then nothing but that’s typical around where I hunt. Leaving it like it was would be ideal and it greened up fast during season which was different since usually that’s closer to the end

We heard more than we ever have. We had killed a couple turkeys before we ever heard one gobble. Two years ago, I didnt hear one all spring then finally heard one in the middle of the summer. We dont turkey hunt nearly as much as some of yall. We heard gobbles about every time we went this year. Alot of times it was on the roost though, then nothing after flydown.

Plenty of Toms on my properties but the gobbles seemed to be a rarity? I think on my land they started early. Saw a hen with poults on the last day.

In Franklin county, I heard much less gobbling than in the past, but I killed more birds than I ever have. Go figure.

Seemed like a normal year to me. I had only one morning that I didn't hear a gobble.
