I know that one of the problems with the covid-19 is that the human body has no anti-bodies to fight this virus unlike the flu. My question is the people that catch covid-19 and get over it will they now have some anti-bodies to fight it if they come in contact with it again?

Whatever you do, remember your grems must be kept away from bright light, never made wet and never, ever be fed after midnight

yes your body should develop antibodies just like it does for common colds and what not. Like many have said the kicker is that these things mutate. One slight change in mutation and you will be susceptible again.

It's not known at this point with a novel virus. We know that you will develop antibodies that will give you short term immunity. Whether this will confer long term immunity is not known. This is an important point especially as we go thru another season next year if no vaccine is available yet.

Covid has an animal RNA base. That is why your body doesn't have antibodies for it. We are programmed to recognize human based RNA strands and since the flu has been around for well over 100 years and is human based RNA it recognizes it as an invader and attacks. The flu comes from animals that have a similar RNA base as humans. Covid does not. That leaves it up in the air if the human body will have antibodies long term. Since it mutated and jumped to humans the real fear is if it mutates again since it did that in a short amount of time. It most likely will mutate again as the flu does. Hopefully there will be a Covid shot as fast as possible to help.

I just read an article that stated Covid-19 mutates very slow so therefore a vaccine would be like the vaccine for the measles and chickenpox.
