Has anyone used these? How are they to put on and how well do they hold up? Thinking about just doing my forearm and butt stock of my turkey gun. Thanks

I did one last year. Wasn’t bad to put on and it held up fine.

Haha ok! I had my gun cerkoted last year. But the color green I went with is to shimmy when the sun reflects off of it so that’s why I was looking to just put it on the butt stock and forearm stock.

I have had good results on several guns. You do need to take your time and the wrap is a little slick on the forearm, if you like to rest it on your knee.

Maybe buy some of that non-slip tape like made for gun grips and put a strip or 2 on the bottom of the forearm?

I did my 870 recently, it was a little aggregating to install but it got the job done as far as camouflaging my gun. It’s by far flawless if your a perfectionist, but you get what you pay for $30 for a wrap or hundreds to get dipped/cerakoted.

*aggravating - since we're having English class

I agree with everything in this statement...have done 3, 2 of which about 10yrs ago when they first came out. Plan on about an hour per and have a razor or very sharp edge for trimming.

i doubt it will adhere to Cerakote very well. Cerakote won’t even stick to cured cerakote

That’s another thing I’ve been looking into. Not many reviews on it though. Any thoughts on what would need to be done?

the cerakote would have to be removed and then some other less "non stick" finish applied
