My source is aldeer and thats the best it gets. They say it was never found and I have to believe that.

I don't know what the guy did or didn't do. But I do know that Owen Walton and Mitch Rompola taught us all how to handle a questionable kill. Those 2 sets of antlers have never been seen again.

I was thinkin one of the batey boys was the lead investigator on this deal...  maybe he will chime in...  Lead investigative reporter, if we want to label it.  What I was told from my source, which is very close to the situation was that the wardens and etc approached Ray with a “this is your last chance to come clean and etc etc etc before etc etc etc.” option. He came clean and they found the body located on Bellefonte. I don’t know if the carcass was located before or after that conversation. The Aldeer Investigative Reporting Team standard response has always been “ We Report. You Decide.” Our new response is ”We can find anything you need....except for Monster Bucks that Travis shot yesterday”. Too soon?

But that’s not true though right? You’re still saying they found a body, but nothing has happened to the suspect? Who is your source?
