I was down there Jan 6-9. and while some young deer were sniffing, bigger deer were NOT there yet

Big boys are starting to move. I took a nice 8 yesterday. My processor says he’s expecting a busy week starting Monday. Trail cams are confirming also.

West Central Barbour. Saw a chase yesterday AM, several bucks seen and scrapes showing up 9 Point killed Friday afternoon did not have a swollen neck or smell bad. Next 10 days should be good.

Shot one Saturday up cruising and saw several other racked deer doing the same. I'd say it's on this week. You can pretty much set your watch by it on our place.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.
