Get in the woods, they're starting to chase. Anytime from now until the end of January is good. I'm in Lincoln and our best time is from about Christmas to the 3rd week in January. State says peak rut is from Dec.25-Jan. 8th.

What the state says is all over the place. Thanks.
Other county I hunt the does get ready 2nd week of Jan. and it's on till Late Feb. Late does and secondary. Probably different genetics where you hunt. Happy hunting.
