I dont see any way it could possibly be more reliable or accurate than a ruger MK series .22 And I dont see the reasoning for a double stack frame to hold 10 rounds of .22

It has zero to do with reliability, double stack mags or accuracy and everything to do with cheap training and practice that directly translates to a self defense pistol owned by millions. minus learning to control the recoil and stay on target when you are firing full power 9mm instead of .22lr. .22 is a plinking round for shooting beer cans, squirrels and rabbits theres a reason our military doesnt train with AR22s instead of 5.56 M4 rifles. how does clearing a stovepiped 9mm effectively translate over to a .22 lr? only thing this new pistol does is look cool and seperate you from your money. you can run any drill with 9mm dummy rounds for a fraction of the cost of this pistol then actually train with the caliber you will be trusting your life with

There are a lot of people who use 22’s to train with because ammo is a lot cheaper, and squeezing the trigger is what builds the muscle memory needed to make hits under pressure, and it also teaches how to use the sites.Training with a 22 is also a good way to start new shooters. This gun is definitely not the best choice for a guy wanting a 22 to hunt or compete with, but it has its place.

I bought one. I've only put 60 rounds through it but it's been 100% reliable with Federal auto match and CCI stingers.

Buckmark with aftermarket extractor and firing pin
Ruger SR22
