So I sold a truck to a guy a couple months ago. Signed over the title to the buyer, and now the guy is wanting me to sign an affidavit to change the title into some one else’s name. Is this normal? Is there any recourse for the seller? He’s one of our brothers from south of the boarder so I’m guessing it has to do with residency, or am I way off? "Customer changed mind" is the reason? That's a lie, so I wouldn't sign it. I'm guessing he's just trying to get it registered in someone else's name, but that's not your problem.

He's avoiding paying tax, on making a profit, or avoiding paying penalties or late fees for failure to register whould be my guess.
Tell him your Aldeer lawyers advise you to not sign anything.
