I don't like the bolt guns but the encores are some of my favorite rifles ever made
We will burn that bridge when we get there

I've got a stainless/camo one in 7-08. It's accurate and carries nicely, bolt is smooth, mag only holds 3. It ain't in the same league as a Bergara, Browning, or other premium guns but it's nice for what it is.

POS. Anything that’s starts with TC is a POS. But not our member TChunter on here. Just the guns The bolt guns feel cheap but shoot pretty decent (tikka feels like this too). The Encores are pretty dang good rifles.

They are as nice as a Tikka IMO. They shoot just as well also.... every Venture I have shot was surprisingly accurate.
They are nicer than a Ruger American at least the trigger guard doesn't have a sharp edge that will cut your finger. Can't say they shoot better.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

My pops has one in 243 with a 3-9x40 prostaff that’s been a moa setup for years. Well worth $.

I love mine. Very accurate. Bolt and all feel great. Easy to clean. It was the best feeling quality i found new for $375 bucks about 6 yrs ago. I have seen them for $700. Id get a wood x bolt for that price range if it was me. Me and my friends love ours. They been excellent to us.

I bought one from a member here 3+ years ago in 30-06. It is a tack driver. No way I would get rid of that rifle. Matter of fact I hope to hunt Sat. afternoon if my knee allows it, and if I do I’ll be toting that T/C Venture. Great rifle.

I have had 2. 1 in .22-250 and 1 in .270. Both were ridiculously accurate.

Got a buddy that has Knight rifle which is similar to TC I think. Has a 308 and 300win barrel. Has custom 30mm rings. He mentioned selling it last week if anyone is interested.
