University of Alabama Dean: American Flag and Police Represent ‘Systemic History of Racism’
A series of resurfaced tweets from Dr. Jamie R. Riley, the University of Alabama’s assistant vice president and dean of students, show he once believed the American flag and police in America are racist.

“The [American flag emoji] flag represents a systemic history of racism for my people,” Riley wrote in a September 2017 tweet. “Police are a part of that system. Is it that hard to see the correlation?”

In another 2017 tweet, Riley, who has served in the position at the University of Alabama since February of this year, claimed white people do not understand racism because “they can’t even experience racism.”

“I’m baffled about how the first thing white people say is, ‘That’s not racist!’ when they can’t even experience racism,” Riley questioned, before adding a note to white people. “You have 0 opinion!”

Creating a thread, Riley responded to his own tweet with the hashtag “#missmewithyourprivilege.”

Another tweet, which was shared on Twitter in 2016, questioned movies about slavery.

“Are movies about slavery truly about educating the unaware, or to remind Black people of our place in society,” Riley asked.

Riley served in various student affairs and diversity and inclusion roles at Johns Hopkins University; The University of California, Berkeley; Longwood University; The University of Georgia; Morehouse College; and Western Kentucky University. He also has teaching experience at The University of Maryland, College Park; The University of California, Berkeley; Longwood University; and The University of Georgia.

The online announcement also said Riley, who is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, earned a doctorate in “counseling and student personnel services from The University of Georgia and both a Bachelor of Science in health care administration and planning and a Master of Education in leadership from Tennessee State University.”

Similarly, North Carolina State University Vice Chancellor Mike Mullen was forced to resign last month after he referred to the Republican Party as the party of “Neo-Nazis” and “the KKK” on his Twitter account.

Breitbart News reached out to the University of Alabama last week, but no statement was given in regards to Riley’s tweets. Riley’s account, which was accessible to the public on Friday morning, has now been locked so only his approved followers can view his tweets.

Just another example of the crumbling foundation of society's pillars. These are a part of the conversations that go on at universities. At least our music and films arent following the same narrative, whoops nevermind they are. Slow march drives on.

BAMA recruits extremely heavy in the north and the west. It also appears that these students from far away are offered scholarships at a higher rate than the local state kids.

Yep. Lots of southern schools do but I can only speak of what I’ve seen at Alabama.

And why do you think they are doing that hmmm? Its almost as if there is some underlying initiative to get a bunch of leftists to flock to red states such as texas and alabama.

Things that make you go hmmmmm.

It's all about the money, about 60% of undergrads at UA are from out of state and pay about double the tuition that in state students pay. Increased the enrollment a bunch and most of the increase is from out of staters. They're bringing in a lot more money by following that model

WINNER! Stan is 100% correct. It's all part of a greater plan to flip red states and it's working. Austin Texas is a prime example. I've been telling y'all for years that the indoctrination into socialism starts in our public schools. And that means elementary too.

I wouldn’t trust any college professor under 65 years old. If they were good at what they teach, they’d be in the private sector. If the private sector doesn’t pay enough in that field, it’s probably not worth paying tuition to learn about.

The Universities only care about money. Out of staters have more of it, and pay out of state tuition which is more than triple the in-state rate.

Alabama, Ole Miss, Auburn are all majority out of staters now. It’s sad. When I was in college the vast majority were from towns like Athens, Montgomery, Luverne, Demopolis etc.

The out of staters graduate and move to Atlanta, Nashville etc.

Last stats I saw had a total enrollment of 26k at AU. Almost 18k was from Alabama.

Total enrollment is 29,776, of which only 16,917 is from Bama. 56.8% in state and a hair over 43% from out of state. My bad. I was 6.8% off. Carry on.

Point being it's sad that any proud state institution has so many out of staters. Whether it be Alabama, Auburn or anyone else. I don't like it.

Something I've learned in real estate is that we are seeing Dems leave blue states in massive waves. They're tired of the high cost of living, high taxes, etc, so they're coming to conservative states but still clinging to their failed Dem ideologies. It's like these muslims leaving countries that operate under Sharia law and then wanting Sharia law in their new home countries. Makes zero sense but it's happening...
