I'm looking for something in the .270 caliber range for my boys. Looking for wood with non-shiny barrel and 4-9x40mm scope or better.
I have a Remington model 710 in .243 caliber with Bushnell 4-9 x 40mm scope I bought new for them 6 years ago as a "starter" rifle. Now as a senior in high school and a sophmore in college, they've outgrown that and are looking for something bigger. Shoots a nice tight shot group. Been fired less then 30 times. Well maintained weapon, as I'm a retired Soldier. Anyone interested in trading?

Would you consider trading it for a 3.5x10x50 vari-x III Leupold? Hit me with a pm if you would consider working up a trade.
Thanks.
