Tring to figure out the differences in the Leupold models- difference in the vx5 and vx 6 etc

VX-5 and VX-6 have the same glass (which is really good), only difference is 5:1 zoom vs 6:1 zoom ratio and more reticle choices in the VX-6, I think.
Also the duplex on the VX-5 is wider than the VX-6 even though they look the same on box.
VX-6HD has even “better” glass
Maybe Outback will move this to the guns and gear forum where I’m sure you meant to pos it.

And the VX6 HD models will include alumina lens covers and a throw lever for the power selector ring. The VX6 models are discontinued and are now the VX6HD line. Both are very good scopes.

I got the VX5 HD 54 or 56 mm with 30 mm tubes and they are about unbeatable.
Until I got the VX5 30mm tube in 2-10 x 42... I love that scope. They aren't a lot of money either.

The mk5 ain’t too shabby, nightforce and the Burris Xtrii doesn’t even come close.
Give me bout 15 more minutes, I was dreamin about beavers..........
