BASS has had the weigh-and-release format in Texas for 10 years. MLF pretty much copied it.
Wasn't there a BASS Central Open on Smith last week? Those fish probably are crazy pressured.
It's all about who pays the money to get one of those tours to attend and promote the area, though. It ain't about the fishing or the anglers.

As many as you can catch in a time limit and the heaviest amount wins. Some of you pervs would head straight to Waffle House or Walmarks to do your angling.

I like watching MLF. Record them all so I don’t miss one. I’d rather watch MLF than Bassmasters or FLW. To me the coverage is better, your in the boat with the pro and you get to get in the minds of the anglers, you see the struggles and the accomplishments. It’s more personal and realistic than only showing the top 5 anglers catching the biggest fish every time.

I agree with Ben2, it was fun for a while but it has gotten boring. They need to change to a best 5 type deal.

I'm like Basscat. I love it and the format. So far MLF has made it possible for more guys to make a living, doing what they love. I suggest some of you check the Youtube videos by several of the guys.(Jacob Wheeler)

Yes I was there and met some anglers. A guy from Wisconsin won it and got around $32,000

Besides, they may not be around for a second season or third season from what I'm told.
