We Selma people have been telling y'all about out honey hole for cooking out. Try the Chicken Swirls when you get the chance. The Potter Station Dip is good too although they may call it something else up there.

I like the stuffed mushrooms also.

Don't let me give you the wrong idea though. The chicken swirls aren't as good as the steaks, just a lot cheaper and very good for a few dollars each.

I happened to be up there the day they opened, it's a really nice place. Guy I hunt with delivers his wife's pies and baked goods up there and said they have been blowing and going. Glad to hear they are doing well, not that I expected any different. Thank yall for supporting my friends and if you haven't, go give them a try. Won't be disappointed.

Stopped in there last night. Got 9 chicken swirls, twice baked potatoes, and stuff mushrooms to cook tonight. I told the guy behind the counter we were from Jasper, so he package them on ice packs for the drive. The peanut brittle was pretty good too.

Been using the Selma location for years, so glad they finally opened in Northport. Unless you are grilling steak, nothing beats a chicken swirl.

If it was the Gantt candy peanut brittle, yes it's amazing. I hung a couple of ceiling fans for Mr. Gantt years ago, and got paid in about 5 lbs of it. I felt I came out ahead.

Since we were talking about the Masters today, the thought of Pimento Cheese comes to mind. One of my old high school team mate's wife makes the best Pimento cheese you've ever had. Kim's Kicking Pimento Cheese. If they have it at that store, pick some up and try it. I'm not a fan of Pimento Cheese, but hers is great.

I think a lot of stores like this have and use the exact same recipe for things like chicken swirls, stuffed shrooms, marinated steaks, chicken rolls, twiced taters, etc. all are damn good

Examples: queen meats in Prattville almost identical to king cutter, butcher market off old Selma rd, poseys crossroads, marks mart, etc. maybe a common owner/investor? Either way I damn sure ain’t complaining cuz they all got it goin on

And they're damn fine. Mrs. Peake's pimento is good, but the best I have ever had was Acre in Auburn. I swear they put meth in it, it's so addicting.
