What about said, never give em a pass. The ONLY thing they understand is taking money from them thru fines. OH there's something else they understand too. But I wouldn't talk about that in a public forum. well me either. But it certainly works, just have to weigh risk vs reward.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

You are part to blame for allowing it to go on for YEARS! Locking them up wouldn't be the right thing at this point although if I had reported back when I first suspected it they would be..I think the money and embarrassment for poaching on good people would be sufficient. Especially when you already have your own place. I believe they are just so dumb they don't realize they were caught a long time ago. Its just a matter of me deciding to go that route. You forgot all kinds of other expenses and who said it was lease?

Well Uncle if you actually own the property and have allowed this to go on for a time, all I can say is that you are a whole lot more tolerant of other's infractions/piddlin' and a much nicer guy than I am currently or ever want to try to be. I'll prosecute every time i catch them on leased land. If I actually owned it and it was happening, I can promise you I'd already be at a whole other level of intolerant with regard to the situation.

I had issues for two or three weeks. Called Mickey the Wilcox county game warden 4 or 5 times and left messages and have NOT heard from him yet. So what do you do?

After reading this I'm not sure you want to do anything. You mentioned the kids, the best thing to do is get the law on them and not take any more getting ran over by a poacher. Sooner or later, you not doing anything "could" get someone hurt later on down the road if the right circumstances arise.

After reading this I'm not sure you want to do anything. You mentioned the kids, the best thing to do is get the law on them and not take any more getting ran over by a poacher.
