He may be in New York at the heisman ceremonies next year if he goes to Oklahoma. That’s where I was kinda hoping he’d go.

Yep. Of all the places that were mentioned as serious considerations, Oklahoma sounded like the most promising. I honestly think if his desire is to even remotely go to the next level, then Oklahoma is going to be his best shot to be a one year wonder somewhere.

Big12, the land of no defense. Very smart move for Jalen.

Interesting - "As it gets a commitment from Alabama graduate transfer quarterback Jalen Hurts, Oklahoma is blocking quarterback Austin Kendall from becoming immediately eligible at West Virginia as a graduate transfer, sources told ESPN"

On the other side of that it’s also the land high powered, high scoring offense, with quarterbacks that can consistently throw the football down field. I wish him the best but I still doubt his ability to win a big game with his arm.

I said back on January 10th that Jalen should go to Oklahoma.

Jalen was a good football player and an even better person. Even though he wasn’t the best option at QB for this team, I’m very sad to see him go.

As soon as Miami signed a transfer QB in the last 24 hours, it was inevitable that Jalen was headed to OU.

I read that today. That makes Oklahoma look very petty. They should just let the dude go and have a chance somewhere else.

Aren't they in the same conference now? I think that makes it a bit different.

Also, how could they possibly prevent a guy that's a graduate from transferring? I thought it was open season.

I kinda see their side of it. A lot of schools won't sign off on a transfer inside their own conference or to a team they will have to play...which WVU fits both categories.

Since no one can tackle in the Big12, he might run for 9865 yards

They're not actually blocking him from transferring there. They're blocking him from being immediately eligible to play so he would have to sit out and lose 1 of his 2 years of eligibility left.
